So it is official today, Rick Santorum is dropping out of the 2012 Presidential Republican Primary and although Newt Gingrich hasn’t said he’s dropping out; he definitely hasn’t dropped in lately. Actually, no one ever “drops out” or…God forbid, “QUITS” – they “suspend” their campaigns. WOW – the way this whole GOP field departed the scene, one-by one, reminds me of a childhood song, “Ten Little Indians” – which is probably considered a politically-incorrect title now-a-days – but was the title, nonetheless. I think the whole purpose of the little ditty was to teach kids to count forwards and backwards; so it starts out, “One little, two little, three little Indians, four little, five little,…and so on until ten (10) is reached, then the song is reversed: 

10.  Gary Johnson  – Ten little

  9.  Buddy Roemer  – Nine little (didn’t drop out, just ignored)

  8.  Herman Cain  – Eight little Indians

  7.  Michelle Bachman  – Seven little  ( Indian “maiden”)

  6.  Jon Huntsman  – Six little

  5.  Rick Perry  – Five little Indians

  4.  Ron Paul  – Four little

  3.  Newt Gingrich  – Three little

  2.  Rick Santorum  – Two little Indians 

  1.  Mitt Romney  – One little Indian boy!…………..VERSUS
